More healed bodies...

“Oh, give thanks to the God of heaven! For His mercy endures forever.” ~ Psalm 136:26 (NKJV).

I thank God that His love never fails and thank Him for showing up last night as we met to pray for men, women and children. All present were sons and daughters of the King.

Jesus gave us the authority to speak healing into one another and we are robbing God of His glory if we do not exercise His power to set others free from evil. We called out to Jehovah Rapha , the God who heals, and He delivered. We gave Jesus what He paid for on the cross…healed bodies.

God’s abundant mercy goes on and on and on and His kingdom of goodness continues to grow, and grow, and grow. I thank God for the glory cloud that circled over us and for His Holy Spirit that ran around the room like a wild buck.

The flame of the Holy Spirit in a lot of the people was turned up as God’s presence was released in the room. A barrel of gasoline was sprinkled on the fire as prayer continued and evil fled that night.
The grandeur of His goodness stands alone. The glory of the Lord will glow forever as the Spirit is released from within the children of God. We have been gifted with His Spirit. Pray for others to be healed!

“For the Lord is the great God,  And the great King above all gods.” ~ Psalm 95:3 (NKJV).

A piece of what Jesus paid for...

Rick Hawbaker, Praying 4 U Ministries

O Lord my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me.” ~ Psalm 30:2 (NKJV).
I am continuing to sing praises to my Lord God Almighty whom I called upon to heal me just a few days ago and He delivered. Our God is a mighty God full of mercy and grace and He provides and He heals. He is awesome. Our savior is a mighty fortress.
The wind had gone out of my sails as I tore a hamstring and was unable to go about daily activities. I sat on ice for three days as the swelling went down and then it was on to the heating pad.
I cried out to my God who is so good at healing that they call Him Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals. The Lord laid His healing hand upon my body and I recovered quickly.
It wasn’t without incident. Satan, the snake, tried to tell me that I wasn’t healed. I did feel a shot of pain from time to time, but I refused to believe the great deceiver.  Instead I laid claim to the healing work God had done in my own body.
Jesus paid a huge price that I might be healed. I let Satan know that my Jesus was going to get what He paid for…another healed body. I got a piece of what Jesus paid for as Heaven came to earth and I was healed.
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,” ~ Psalm 103:2-3 (NKJV).
Thank You Jesus!

I am like the rain and snow?

“I know, O LORD, that a man's life is not his own; it is not for man to direct his steps.” ~ Jeremiah 10:23 (NIV).

I am in a season of rest. I didn’t want it. I didn’t ask for it, but God knows best and here I am. I have only called off work three times in the last twelve years and then this week comes and I have called off three days in a row with a hamstring injury.

Playing the game of life is like all games. Nobody wants to be jerked out of the game and sit on the sidelines. I feel that is what has happened to me, but I thank the Lord God Almighty for forcing me to slow down and check in with him.

Knowing the scripture above out of Jeremiah 10, “that a man's life is not his own; it is not for man to direct his steps”, I think we need to make a better attempt at checking in with Jesus. We need to know more about the course he has charted for us, our map to our Promised Land of heaven. Doing things our way certainly isn’t going to stack up well with our potter.

I was laying in pain asking my savior to come by and lay His healing hands on me. As I prayed I saw a vision of Him and I walking toward a corner. Only thing separating us was a row of broken off rotting wooden post.

I could see the corner ahead but could see nothing straight ahead past that and there was not a road the right. The only path was to the left and that was the side He was on.

I think He was telling me that I can see the end of the road from where I am and that I have already made my choice and that is to be with Him eternally. That’s why there was not another road to take.

We have a close relationship and I already know I can climb up into His lap at any time. That is probably the reason that the fence was gone between us. He is always available and His presence is easily gained.

I have prayed what if anything else this vision was to tell me. I was told I am already seated with Him in heaven and am here on earth to release His power and glory. I have been sent down from heaven just like the rain and the snow that comes down and I, too, will not return to heaven without watering the earth.

So as I now wonder over the dusty trail to the final corner to go away with Him in heavenly places, I know that I, just like rain, or snow or the word of God, will not return to heaven void.

Thank You Holy Spirit!

“As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” ~ Isaiah 55 10-11~ (NIV)

How Can We Pray For You?

Dear God in heaven…We are thrilled to be soldiers in your mighty army battling the evil that surrounds us in this dark world. Thrilled to be on the winning team and so looking forward to the days ahead with you in heavenly places. You are so good at healing they call you Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals and restores. Come by here, Father, and restore the bodies of your saints that we may make you proud as we further your kingdom that is here and coming. Thank you Papa! We ask this in the good and great name of JESUS! Amen and Amen!
How can we pray for you today? Our God wants you to be happy and healthy even more than you want to be. He needs soldiers that are well that are able to walk with Him in victory. Let us know how we can pray. Praying 4 U Ministries has over ten thousand people connected to it that pray for others.

Jesus told us in Matthew 18:19:20 (NKJV), “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

Wow, Jesus said "where two or three". Can you imagine the power and strength of having the possibility of over ten thousand praying for you? Let's let God love on us. What is your prayer request?

May your love abound still more...

“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy,” ~ Philippians 1:3-4 (NKJV).

Our brother in Christ, the Apostle Paul, was a mighty prayer warrior and he considered it joyful to pray for others. Sitting in prison waiting possible execution he wrote to the church at Philippi. He told them his constant prayers for them were a real joy as it brought back to his mind how he had worked with them to further the kingdom.

Paul had started this church and it was the first Christian church in Europe. He wanted to see their lives full of true goodness and prayed for those he had defended the kingdom with. With them he had extended the kingdom demonstrating the power of Jesus, and together shared the grace of God.

Knowing that these friends in Philippi were full of love, Paul continued in his letter writing, “And this I pray, that your love may abound still more…” ~ Philippians 1:9 (NKJV).

Paul knew that no matter how much love for others we may have that we can still have more love. I see our love is to be like a huge lake overcoming the sand that outlines it and it is spilling over the dam. Like a river going over the banks. More Lord…More!

I am a believer that the most you can do for another is to pray for them. Imagine if you prayed that they abound in love. Is there anything that could promote someone’s welfare more?

I pray for you this day that you will be filled with the love of Christ to overflowing measures. May you possess the heart of Jesus.  Like Paul, “I pray, that your love may abound still more…”

Shalom,

Ho! Everyone who thirsts...

“Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters;… And let your soul delight itself in abundance.”
~ Isaiah 55:1-2 (NKJV).

When the word of God says, “Ho!” through the prophet of Isaiah, I have to believe that God is hollering down from heaven to alert us, who are not listening, and I am going to pay attention. I hope you have a hunger for God, for all that He is, and all that He has. Heed the call of God and go to the endless stream of waters for more of Him. Jesus is the smitten rock!

The blessings of salvation, healing and deliverance are free to us all and in Christ there is enough for everyone. God has blessed us with unending love and boundless grace that goes on and on and on. We are told in Isaiah 55:3, “And I will make an everlasting covenant with you—The sure mercies of David.”

David was shown great mercy as his life was spared when he was guilty of murder and adultery and he was blessed and received guidance all through his life. We are truly blessed to be promised the same mercy He showed to David.

We must listen to God, have patience, and lean into Him for all things for when we finally realize He is our all in all, and we are nothing without Him, that is when our soul is delighted and we can see our abundance.

Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.” ~ Isaiah 55:6 (NKJV).
