Pray continually with all kinds of prayers...

“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.” ~ Ephesians 6:18 (NIV).

Oh, happy day, happy day. I believe Exodus 15:26 to be true, “for I am the LORD, who heals you." What I believe doesn’t stop there. I also believe “I will take away sickness from among you.” Exodus 23:25.

My faith in my God doesn’t stop there either. It includes Psalm 103:3 “Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits--who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.”

My wife had broken her arm and had rotator cuff surgery five months ago. She had not responded to therapy and the surgeon, doctors, and therapist began saying her shoulder was frozen (adhesive capsulitis). Manipulation surgery to go in and break up the scar tissue was schedule.

I am blessed to a part of a group of passionate praying men who call themselves 6:10 Warriors after Ephesians 6:10 which is “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.” The love and power of the Holy Spirit leaks out of these men.

They are out to reclaim their health, marriages, families, jobs, businesses and happiness. Everything that Satan, the Snake, has come after in their lives, the 610 Warriors are out to reclaimed. Satan has power but NO Authority and the 610 Warriors know this fact well.

The 6:10 Warriors began praying in the last month that the scar tissue would be gone in the name of Jesus, that my wife would be able to reach a little further or higher and notice the progress each day, and that the idea to cancel her surgery would be the surgeon’s idea. These prayers were all answered!

My wife’s surgery was canceled indeed. The surgeon who had done the first surgery said at her pre-surgery checkup before the manipulation surgery, “I am amazed, totally amazed. You have gone from ZERO external rotation with your arm to 45% in the last month. I think we should cancel manipulation surgery. What do you think? Your shoulder is not frozen."

In Luke 18:1, “Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.” Plan A at our house is to pray and pray is exactly what we did. If prayer is not answered, Plan B around here is to continue to pray. And that is what we did. We were obedient to our Father, praying and not giving up.  O healing power of the Holy Spirit, thank you. All glory and praise goes to you LORD.

I have heard prayed many times “and by his wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5. I believe that to be true along with Jeremiah 30:17, “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,' declares the LORD.”

“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2:24.

Whatever the mountain is that is before you as you have read this today, know that mountains melt before the LORD as you follow the direction God wrote in his own book, “pray continually,” 1 Thessalonians 5:17.

Dazed and confused...

O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you ~ Psalm 63:1 (NIV).

I have been blogging for a little over two years. It has been great sharing how Jesus is being Jesus in my life. This is my 270th blog. I didn’t think when I began that I had that much to say about the LORD, but since I have been in hot pursuit of him the stories of his goodness just keep on coming. Thank you Holy Spirit!

One thing that has me dazed and confused is why people don’t ask the almighty healer to heal them. God told us in Exodus 15:26 “I am the Lord, who heals you.”  Yes, God is the almighty Jehovah Rapha. The one who heals!

I know it is good to have more questions than answers, but seriously, why not follow God’s direction given for us in his own book?

God in the flesh, Jesus, sent out the twelve disciples commissioning them to “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons.” ~ Matthew 10:8 (NLT). He not only told them do this, he gave them the authority and power to do it.

We too have been given that same power through the name of Jesus. If God has called you to assist him in healing, he will give you the power to do so.

The number of people being healed in my midst is growing every week. I thank the LORD for showing me his glory and give him all the honor, glory and praise. He truly is the Great I Am!

“I will give you back your health and heal your wounds," says the LORD.” ~ Jeremiah 30:17 (NLT).

"Just pray about it. That's all we can do."

“Pray continually,” ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (NIV).
I often stop to chat with a daughter of the King, as I make my rounds at work. It is a fact that no matter what situation or circumstance we talk about, she always says, “Just pray about it. That’s all we can do.”

She is right. “Just pray about it.” Whether you were born to a family of five in a two-room shanty on the eastern plains of Colorado or to a family in one of the riches American counties, take it to the LORD in prayer. “That’s all we can do.”

That is where your help comes from, no matter what your need is. “My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.” ~ Psalm 121:2 (NIV).

The more you seek the LORD and hang out with him in prayer, the more supernatural things will happen around you. You will start saying and hearing words like amazing, unbelievable, awesome, remarkable and miraculous. And those very words will become a regular part of your vocabulary.

The supernatural will become the norm as you surrender more of yourself and are filled with more of the Holy Spirit. Continue to be filled with Kingdom Power to the point of overflowing. Be free, be powerful, and receive all that God has for you. Surrender to the Spirit of God.

The LORD has come upon me...

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.” ~ Isaiah 60:1 (NIV).

I was thinking about how the LORD has certainly come upon me. The LORD has filled me with his Holy Spirit from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet.  As I demonstrate his love and power, he is leaking out of me to others.

Yes, the LORD has come upon me and now he is coming out of me. I am releasing his presence by demonstrating his will, “on earth as it is in heaven.

I am looking for every opportunity to give him glory by using the gifts he has given me and it has changed the atmosphere around me.

A friend saw a vision of wet wood burning. God said that meant that the impossible is about to happen.  I am believing that to be true and thank the LORD in advance. He is the God of more than we can imagine.

Another friend sent me a text saying, “Ohhh, do we have good days coming, and what a blessing to see it, be a part of it, and bask in it.” To that I say, “Amen and Amen!”

“The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.” ~ Isaiah 60:19 (NIV).

Accept the power and authority given to you...

“I can do everything through him who gives me strength.” ~ Philippians 4:13 (NIV).

In the name of Jesus our mountains melt before us. We are so lucky to be the King’s kids, sons and daughters of the almighty God. He is maker of heaven and earth. He is the Great I Am.

I was praying with friends for a person to be released from the chains that were binding him.  As we passionately prayed seeking help from our Father, a vision of a snake slithering on a road as fast as it could toward the pits of hell ran through my mind.

Yes, as this man was released from bondage through prayer, I could see Satan, the snake, leaving the area. As the name of Jesus was used over and over, Satan felt very uncomfortable and he couldn’t get out of the area fast enough.

Just as fast as light takes over darkness when someone turns on the lights, that is how fast Satan, the Father of Lies, was leaving this man. Please know that Satan does have power, but he does not have power and/or authority over us.

I believe on the evidence of miracles themselves and know that God’s holy word says, “anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these.” ~ John 14:12 (NIV).

Seek the fullness of Christ in your life. Activate the Holy Spirit and be free and powerful. Walk in the light of His presence.

Release His glory in a broken world....

“When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.” ~ Luke 9:1-2 (NIV).

Our God is an awesome God. He is large and in charge, hears our prayers and answers them. His greatness goes unmatched in all things known and unknown. To God goes all the honor, glory and praise.

I am becoming the image of him through the help of the Holy Spirit. It is impossible to tell you all he has done for me. I have reached out and grabbed hold of my true identity. I am a son of God and have been passed down the kingdom power and authority through Jesus.

Shout out to God and praise him. Nothing is impossible if you carry his kingdom with you. He is the Great I Am and when he shows up everything changes. His goodness reigns forever and ever.

May God get everything from you he deserves. We are created to be powerful and free. Let the very power that raised Jesus from the dead flow through you and unto others. If you don’t use his power you are robbing God of his glory, because he can do great things through you.

Children of the LORD, if you believe you are a son or daughter of God, lean into your Father’s heart. You are God’s dream and were created to be powerful and free. Show his love and power to this broken world and in doing so you will release his glory.

“Because I live, you also will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.” John 14:19-20 (NIV).

Shalom,
