"Now Show Me Your Glory."

“Then Moses said, “Now show me your glory.” Exodus 33:18 (NIV).

“More LORD, we want more.” That is a prayer I have heard and prayed many times with friends. When you get on FIRE for the creator of the universe, you still want more. You get a burning desire to host the presence of God.

Moses was called by the LORD from within the glory cloud that looked to the Israelites like a consuming fire on top of Mount Sinai. After all that Moses saw, he knew there was more and he wanted it saying, “Now show me your glory”.

We are just like Moses. The closer we get to the LORD and the more of the LORD we receive, the more we want. Although we have seen His glory shine in our lives and around us, we, too, know there is much, much more.

You can be filled from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet with the Holy Spirit, but you still want more of our great God. Pray today for the LORD to take out all ungodly things from your body and to fill that void with the Holy Spirit.

“Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him." John 14:21 (NIV).

Claim the victory~You are on the winning team

“Free me from the trap that is set for me, for you are my refuge.” Psalm 31:4 (NIV).

The King of the Universe is my Father and for that I am very grateful. I thank Him and praise Him for all He has done for me and my family. All honor, glory and praise goes to the LORD God Almighty.

I thank the LORD for the way he protects me from my foes in this dark world. He is the light and He alone is our strength. He protects us supernaturally and with His help we can persevere.

Let the Spirit of God that is in you lead you through each and every day. You can work through your challenges and you will defeat your giants as you are persecuted, tempted and afflicted.

In Psalm 103:19 (NIV) we are told, “The LORD has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.” Notice it says that the LORD has established his throne. It does not say he is going to establish it. Also, it says his kingdom rules over all. It does not say it is going to someday rule over all.

Walk in victory with the LORD. The battle has already been won. He has established His throne in heaven and His kingdom rules over all. You are on the winning team. Claim the victory!

“My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare.” Psalm 25:15 (NIV).

Continue to pray for Praying 4 U Ministries

I thank God for all who have come up alongside of Praying 4 U Ministries. Thank you for praying for this electronic ministry as it continues to grow and continues to further the kingdom of God.

It is great to have friends all over the world that care enough to pray for the kingdom. I love being in contact with those that are releasing the presence of God. Together we are bringing heaven to earth.

Since we are Christ-like, we are to be the light of the world, but you can't be the light if you aren't plugged in. The way to get plugged in and to stay plugged in is to be in the word of God. "Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ." Romans 10:17 (NIV).

Many people are reached every week by Praying 4 U Ministries through this blog, through over a dozen facebook pages, through phone text, and emails. Join me in praying that Praying 4 U Ministries will continue to grow and that it may continue to release His presence as God's love and power is shared around the globe.

One piece of love and light at a time...

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” 2 Corinthians 3:17 NIV.

The Spirit of God is always leading us. Have you ever looked back at the last five or ten years of your life and seen how the Spirit has led you?

Five years ago our plans were to move 75 miles north to be closer to our son and his family. I was able to quickly get a job transfer, but we were unable to sell our home.

After six months of chaos, we settled back in our original home and began going to an evangelical mega church. We have made many friends there and have gotten closer to our creator and provider.

Looking back we can see how finding this assembly of believers has brought us closer to the LORD. Now we feel God has put on our hearts to help launch a spirit-filled church, Freedom Fellowship.

Freedom Fellowship will be focused on helping people find freedom by demonstrating the love and power of God. That is exactly where I am in my life right now and I am all fired up and ready to go.

If anyone would have told me five, ten, twenty, thirty years ago or more that we would someday be one of the original families launching a spirit-filled church, I would have not believed them.

Knowing now what I do about our creator and his amazing love for us and witnessing His power, I will follow Him. I am on board to furthering the kingdom of God. On board to bringing heaven to earth, one piece of love and light at a time.

"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” Luke 4:18-19 NIV.

Thank you Jesus!

Devote yourselves to prayer...

“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful” ~ Colossians 4:2 (NIV)

Our God is so good. I thank Him every day for the great things He continues to do for us. He has shown His face to us and He has shined down upon us. Our God is a great God!

I encourage all of you to continue praying for others. Pray all kinds of prayers and pray in all kinds of occasions. He is mighty. He still hears our prayers and still answers them.

Bud Hexum, a fellow associate from my workplace that we laid hands on in prayer a couple months back, reported this week that his esophagus is now completely healed. He can now eat and drink on his own as he can swallow. He is gaining back weight and spirits are lifted up.

The cancer spot on his liver is now gone too and the doctors say they can handle the thyroid. He still needs prayer for the bone cancer, but cancer of the liver and esophagus is gone.

Thanks for praying for others where and when you can. We are seeing results. Just need more devoted prayers.

“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.” Ephesians 6:18 NIV.

Shalom,

Duane and Donna...

“Sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done marvelous things;” Psalm 98:1 NIV.

Praise Ye The LORD, Hallelujah!

Just have to share a bit of the excitement that has come upon me this day. We are not to get used to great deeds God does and I don’t. I still get excited about the little things.

I used to go in the break room at work and had to listen to story after story of how people abused their bodies and lives with alcohol. More than once I heard the story of two young girls stopping at a bar for a drink and having older men hitting on them. Men that were older than their own dads.

Most of the Christians I work with are very open about what God is doing in their lives and they do not hesitate to share. As they share they are releasing the presence of God. That is exactly what God wants us to do. It is a key in building His kingdom.

It is paying off. Today I was in the same break room where I heard the stories of the young girls dancing with darkness. The talk was different and I have been getting a feeling that the surroundings are changing to light.

Today I heard that Duane was saved recently and that he had quit drinking. Duane's wife, Donna, had been saved too, and they were really dealing with some things in their lives that six months ago would have been way too much for them. Now they have turned it over to the LORD.

Praise Ye The LORD, Hallelujah!

“Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders you have done.” Psalm 40:5 NIV.

Thank You Jesus,

And to that I say, “That’s Right!”

“For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome,” ~ Deuteronomy 10:17 (NIV).

Our God is mighty and awesome and He has shown me His glory in the closing months of 2011. I have seen Him in ways I have never experienced before and my faith and love in Him has increased.

It is great hearing doctors say, “I am amazed at how you are healing” and “you really should not be feeling this well”. Our great healer and great provider is providing healings of all kinds all around us. I have seen physical healings, healings of marriages, healings of families, healings of souls and more.

The amazing work of the LORD did not stop on New Year’s Day. I am trusting in Jesus that 2012 will be a GREAT year, too. And, it has already started out with rolling thunder. Thank you Jesus †.

“Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare.” ~ Psalm 40:5 (NIV).

In Job 5:9 (NIV), we are told, “He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.” And to that I say, “That’s Right!”

Thank You Jesus,
