Gathering the scattered flock...

Now the Lord spoke to Paul in the night by a vision, “Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent; for I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city.” ~ Acts 18:9 (NKJV).

This story of the Lord speaking to Paul in the night by a vision spoke to me today. I think the Lord is telling me that my workplace is this city and the Lord has many people there that need to hear the stories of what Jesus is like and need to be nudged in the direction of home into His lap.

The Lord is saying to me do not be afraid to speak up about Him and please, please do not be silent. Don’t be silent because I may be the only way they are going to hear about the mighty works of King Jesus.

The Lord said “for I am with you” which tells me that I am doing the work of the Lord and that I am in His presence and that He will protect me as we further His kingdom together.

Jesus told us in Luke 10:2, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few;” We need to get out and be the hands and the feet of the Lord as this statement of the harvest being huge is still true two thousand years later. Jesus said the laborers are few and that is still true, too.

If we were in the last days two thousand years ago then we must be in the last seconds now. I hear the Lord saying, “Help me gather my scattered chosen flock.”

God has not changed...

"Who among the gods is like you, O LORD? Who is like you--majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders? ~ Exodus 15:11 (NIV)

Moses and the children of Israel sang out these words to the LORD as they had crossed the Red Sea and were heading into the wilderness.  They walked in the power and presence of the LORD and knew there was nothing like Him in Egypt or Canaan. That was the whole world as they knew it.

Our God is still majestic in holiness, awesome in glory and working wonders. We were told in Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Jesus is God. He has not changed. He is still there for us and still doing awesome deeds.

Pray for big things, little things, and all kinds of things, but most importantly, pray for all things with expectancy. Know that you are living under an open heaven under a God who loves unconditionally.

Papa has a great plan for you which is full of Him. Surrender to King Jesus and experience power over the evil that surrounds you. Darkness flees as you share Jesus, the light of the world.

“Sing to God, sing praise to his name, extol him who rides on the clouds--his name is the LORD--and rejoice before him.” ~ Psalm 68:4 (NIV).

Don’t throw away your future by living for right now.

“No one is like you, O LORD; you are great, and your name is mighty in power.” ~ Jeremiah 10:6 (NIV).
I stand in awe of the power of our living God and everlasting King. I have seen His power and His glory. He goes unmatched in all things. Call out His name when you are in need and experience His goodness.
Have you gotten off the path like the prodigal son and now are considering returning to your Father’s arms? Satan is telling you that you are not worthy and that God has no interest in those who have fallen away. Satan wants you to stay in the slop with the pigs.
Satan is a liar! Know that God is ready to forgive you and forget what is separating you from Him. He welcomes the chance to operate His kingdom from your heart. God saves all who repent and believe in the name of his son, Jesus Christ.
Don’t throw away your future by living for right now. Whatever is separating you from King Jesus will come to pass.  Ask Jesus to come between you and whatever it is that keeps you from Him.
There is no greater power than the power of the resurrected Christ. Tap into that power and live a life full of Him. Live the life He has planned for you.
It is easy work for God to bring you home into His arms, but first you must decide to leave the life with the pigs that you now have. God doesn’t disconnect from us when we blow it. His Spirit is always with you waiting to be activated or reactivated.
The LORD told us in Genesis 15 that He is our shield and our exceedingly great reward. You won’t want to miss out on what God has planned for you.
“Among the gods there is none like you, O Lord; no deeds can compare with yours.” ~ Psalm 86:8 (NIV).

Love in deed and in truth...

“So they come to you as people do, they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they do not do them; for with their mouth they show much love, but their hearts pursue their own gain.” ~ Ezekiel 33:31 (NKJV).

Long for the presence of God and let the glory of His goodness reign in your life. I pray that you walk in love and speak truth into other’s. Get on with doing your Father’s business.

You are a kid of the King and your job description was written in His word before you were born. Your instructions are in Matthew 10:8 (NKJV), “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons."

Your true love for one another will be demonstrated as your actions tell the tale of your heart. May it be said of you that you abide in the love of God.

My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.” ~ 1 John 3:18 (NKJV).

Receive Jesus here ~ He receives us there

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” ~ John 14:3 (NKJV).

I am praying that in your heart you fully trust in JESUS. He has not forsaken us. He clearly said, “I will come again and receive you to Myself.” Be patient and look forward to that day.

Know that heaven is more than pearly gates and streets of gold. Eternal life begins here on earth when you accept  Him as your savior and profess Him. Ask for forgiveness and repent. Put your faith in action. We receive JESUS on earth and He receives us in heaven. Heaven is heaven because that is where JESUS is.

Without JESUS, we are dead and in darkness. Choose JESUS and have life and shine His light to others. JESUS told Thomas, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. ~ John 14:6 (NKJV).

Questions for the New Year...

“Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance. ~ Isaiah 55:2 (NKJV).

We are all clearly called to the waters to drink, but yet only those who thirst for the LORD seek more of Him. I take my love for JESUS very serious and He did the same for me. He was so serious about His love for me that He gave up His life nailed to a tree.

God told us in His holy word to listen carefully to Him and to eat what is good. Sounds simple enough, but do we do it? Are we taking the time and giving Him the attention it takes to actually listen carefully to Him?

The second part of this direction from God is to eat what is good. Are we doing that? There are all kinds of spiritual foods out there. Are we just eating the spiritual food that is set in front of us or are we making sure it is the food we need at a time like this?

Are we seeking God with our arms and hearts wide open? Don’t let ways of this fallen world come over you and close your eyes to what the LORD has for you. He is a God of abundance and has BIG plans for you. Enjoy your encounter with Him!

“I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me.” ~ Proverbs 8:17 (NKJV).

Our help comes from the LORD...

Snowy Range Wyoming, USA

“I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.” ~ Psalm 121:1-2 (NKJV).

Step boldly into the first days of 2013 with the presence of the LORD around you. Carry the fire you have for King JESUS into the New Year and stir it into a mighty flame that may consume all those that see it through you.
Know that the mighty Kingdom of God is already with us and believe in Kingdom power. For the invisible power that is among us is unmatched with any power in the visible realm.
Stand in awe of the things the LORD has done and pray with expectancy for little things, great things and everything in between. He is the Father of all and has great plans for you that are full of Him.
Pray for limbs to grow back, eyes to see, ears to hear, marriages to mend, world hunger to end, abuse to stop, better jobs, healed bodies, souls and minds, and for our countries and their leaders.
This is a short list and easy work for the master of the universe. Ask God for help today as this is where our help comes from. Expect Him to make a difference and give Him all the honor, glory and praise.
“Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.” ~ Psalm 124:8 (NKJV).
