'Fan Into Flame The Gift Of God!'

We all have been given special gifts of God and I encourage you this day to find out what your gift is and to use it.
Paul told us in the first book of Timothy "Do not neglect your gift." Do you know what your gift is? Are you using it for our Almighty God's glory and to build his kingdom?

God has given us all gifts, but they do not work on their own. We must cooperate with God and have a desire and a drive to develop these gifts as we serve as one of the king's men."For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God...(1 Timothy 1:6 NIV)

Paul tells us in chapter 12 of 1 Corinthians, " To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines."

This is a short list of the gifts of God. There are many more gifts and all need to be developed with the Holy Spirit working through us. Some of you may have four or five gifts, some two or maybe only one. However many gifts you have, you can't just leave them lay there. They are given to you to use for his glory. Don't keep God waiting.

Keep the fire that God has given you burning strong. God wants us to keep our given gifts burning for him. Satan doesn't have a chance when you are teamed up with God. Drive Satan out of your life, out of your home, out of your work place, and out of your community. He has no dealings with you.

Gifts from God our meant to be shared. Pray to God through Jesus today to find out what your given gift is and pray to develop it like it was meant to be. Ask God to increase your desire to know him more!

Don't let the light of the fire of God go dim in your life.
"Fan into flame the gift of God!"
