Biblical Encouragement Is Needed

You may be the busy mom, the frustrated employee, the run-a-way dad, the drug-user, alcoholic, or the person battling a fatal disease. Maybe your 28 year-old daughter is finally planning a wedding, but has shocked you with the news that she is marrying another women.

Whatever skin you are in, biblical encouragement is something we all need each and every day of our life. The bible is full of hope and encouragement from Genesis to Revelation. Dig into the word, share it, and encourage others.

God can handle our every need and is ready to carry our every burden. We are tested as he works through us increasing our faith in the different seasons of our lives. We must put our faith in him and learn to trust him.

Having faith is relinquishing our trust in ourselves and putting that trust in God. There aren't four hundred and twelve sins or six hundred and fifty-seven sins. There is one sin - it's not reliquishing our trust in ourselves and putting that trust in God.

I have a Savior and so do you. He has promised to meet all our needs. He is more than sufficient and more than we can ever imagine. In his holy word, God tells us, "and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me." Psalm 50:15 (NIV).

A little bit of encouragement can go along way. In Paul's final instructions to the church of the Thessalonians he wrote, "encourage the timid." 1 Thessalonians 5:14 (NIV)

Be encouraging and you will see your life become increasingly enriched as you watch the impact God has on others through you.
