He Is All You Need...

Your biggest problem today may be trying to find a lid to fit the tupperware bowls you have in your house. Why is it that none of the tupperware lids you have fits any of your bowls? Hey, that can be frustrating! But, don't stress out about it. No matter how simple or how big your problem is, turn it over to God. God is there for you. He is in the helping business.
Many of God's dearly loved children are hurting today. All of us have the little problems like the missing tupperware lids and the mystery of the one missing white sock when laundry is done. But, some are fighting disfunctional families, credit card debts, abusive spouses, strong-willed children, oppresive work environments, and rowdy neighbors.
Unfortunetly, the list could and does go on and on. If this is the skin you are in, know today that there is a friend that is closer than a brother that is waiting to be called upon. Jesus wants to grab hold of you and set you on two feet on solid ground. But it is your choice. Right now, in your mind, it may not be cool for you to hang out with God. It's your choice. You can choose God or choose society.
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." (Psalms 46:1 NIV) Amen! Jump on God's back and let him keep you out of the surging waters that are at times raging and about to overtake you. How can you pass up his invitation?
God and his holy spirit lives in you along with his son, Jesus. You need confirmation of this, who do you think the "WE" is that our brother Jesus is referring to in John 14:23? Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and "WE" will come to him and make our home with him."
Friends in Christ, God is here, God is there, God is everywhere. He is everywhere you are and waiting for you to ask for his loving help. Don't put your trust in earthly things and especially don't trust man for help. It is written in Psalm 60:11 (NIV), "Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless."
If you are looking for help with whatever you are dealing with at the present time and you haven't taken it to the throne of God, you are wasting your time and effort. The bible, our guide for life, clearly says in Psalm 54:4, "Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me."
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30 NIV)
Close that gap between you and God today. Get on with living the life that your heavenly father wants you to have. He is all you need!
