We Are More Powerful Than The Enemy!

The closer we come to the Lord, the more Satan is after our souls. He is our enemy and is on the prowl 24/7.

Satan is learning our strengths and weaknesses and planning the right time to catch us off-guard. He is a liar, the tempter, the great deceiver.

God's word tells us in James 4:7, "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Turn to God for his power and strength and resist the enemy. We can conquer Satan and his troops if we turn to God for victory.

The best defense of evil is a good spiritual offense. We can't sit around waiting for Satan to attack and then say, "Oh no! Here's Satan again! What am I going to do?" Instead, we need to prepare our self for battle and as we overcome evil with the Lord's help, say, "There goes God again!"

Satan runs from us when we pray and give praise to King Jesus. We need to dig into the word of God, unpack it, and use it along with the power of Jesus' name. Satan was defeated at the foot of the cross as Jesus raised his arms for each of us, his dearly loved children.

James 4:7 was a two part command. "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." But don't forget the first part of the verse, "Submit yourselves, then, to God." We need to submit our self to God and resist the devil to get him to flee.

The same power source that raised Jesus from the dead is in us. "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4). We need to submit to God and use our authority in the name of Jesus. We are more powerful than the enemy!
