The risen king with all of His angels is returning in His glory to sit upon His glorious throne. Nobody knows the day or hour of His return, but it is written that He will say...“Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.” (Matthew 25:34 NIV).
As the Holy Spirit rains upon us, soaks in and flows through us, we grow in our relationship with our almighty Father. We will come to recognize the needs of others and it will tug at our hearts to help our brothers and sisters.
As our mind is transformed we will see Jesus who needs to be fed, given a drink, invited in, clothed, watched when sick or visited in jail. And, we will hear “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40)
Some will go away to the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. But the righteous will go to eternal life. Our brother Jesus carried our sins to the cross that we might be saved from the eternal fire. Thank you Jesus!
Dear God in heaven – Your splendor is above all things known. Thank you for calling us out of darkness and for saving us from ourselves. Thank you for taking away our lives and for molding us to be like your Son. You are the GREAT God in heaven and we proudly proclaim to be children of the LORD. In Jesus name. Amen!
